  • @Kfawal Those were locs started with comb twists. Based on what you told me about your hair texture, I would suggest you start with the Backcomb/Interlock method. The bigger your locs are the easier they will lock. See "LYL Photo Gallery"at 6:43 for an example. Keep me updated on your progress & Thanks for watching!!

  • @locyourlocs okay thank you! i appreciate your help! ill keep in touch on my progress!

  • @Kfawal I saw the video of the style locs you're thinking about getting. They look nice but know that the smaller the loc the more work it is to maintain. I suggest you get a consultation with a loctician in your area.

  • @Kfawal Check out my "Top 5 Tips Dreadlocks" video, following the tips in there will help. Unfortunately, if your hair is prone to frizziness this will probably be an ongoing issue even when you get locs. When your hair has "locked" you can trim the frizzy ends but it will only be a short term fix. You can use a little locking gel and sit under dryer to smooth it and/or consider interlocking. You also can find a loctician who offers Lock Groomer services (see its YouTube video.
