The language is LATIN - the language of Europe two thousand years ago and still used in the Roman Catholic Church today. Classical Latin is the former and Medieval Latin used by the Church. A beautiful prayer in a beautiful language.

Perhaps the Hail Mary or a rosary but in the appropriate language mostly . Sorry , no magic, no witchcraft. A simple prayer , perhaps a relaxing chant to some . Comfort for all who use it.
I am sadly not a very good Catholic.
The Lords Prayer (Our Father) and the Hail Mary are simple, sound, unadulterated corner stones and beyond sensible criticism.
