Sometimes geoengineering freaks me out since I do not know what kind of backlashes it will bring about in twenty years. It is better to do something rather than to keep denying global warming, but I cannot trust some outlandish projects like shooting out carbon dioxide beyond atmospheric layers .

this global warming !!!! what nonsense when will people wake up to the CON - ANSWER - WHEN ITS TOO LATE. the copenhagen treaty if they sign it will take precedence over ALL INTERNATIONAL CONSTITUTIONS AND WILL BE IRREVERSIBLE!!!!

if they really want to trap carbon, the best idea i seen yet would be making a boat that had Co2 air scrubbers on them then take the Co2 ice and drop the ice to the bottom of the oceans. there problem solved! :-)

One person won't change anything but sometimes one person with a good enough cause and a belief in it can cause others to change, which does make a difference. Do you think that if everyone stopped driving (not only would economy be fucked but) we would have cleaner air?

To me it's all about physics, when there is more oxygen and less creatures, those creatures grow tall. We have mechanical beasts, millions of species of animal, and then us. The planet is choking and so are we.

And to you Varflane, read the comment I left SugarMonkey to see the video I refered to her because you obviously need to be educated on this matter because you are using a classic argument that has been laid to rest quite a long time ago and the fact that you are still using it only shows your ignorance to properly educate yourself on the issue.

Absolutely not. The person was using amateur science and left out dozens and dozens of other elements to this issue. Climate change is a real problem and it's time that the general public make a conscieous effort to get the ACCURATE information. On my favorites I have a video called "Climate Change - The Scientific Debate" by Potholer54. It's just the first video in a series he created to explain this exact issue. Watch all of those videos he created to get the accurate information.
