This video answers my critics even here on You Tube. My original "ENYA" effort was just a tester. This video is the BBC testcard with ORIGINAL big band style testcard music. I have even animated the BBC 1 station clock, just to give the whole thing a particularly true-to-life feel. So enjoy. Especially all you folks that really REALLY miss the testcards of yesteryear!. A BBC 2 version is now in the pipeline! Bet you can't wait!

  • Why is the test card so long and narrow? Otherwise I like it and the music. Reminds me of my days as a TV engineer 1967 to 1990.

  • @TheCaleyman ... It was produced on my computer as a 4:3 but it goes weird during the upload process.

  • Rock paper shotgun.

  • Great job you made of the BBC clock. Believe it or not I used to sit in front of the telly with my tape recorder when I was a kid because I loved the TC music.

  • @airscrew1 Me too.. In fact, you'd be surprised at just how many kids of the 60's, 70's and early part of the 80's did just that! We all had our favourites, and even years later can still remember the order that these tunes were played in from each tape.

  • @RamTerritory Why wouldn't it?

  • haha re tape recorder i did that as well - its funny how you think you're the only one who did that at the time

  • Why does it have that picture?

  • When I was a kid I always thought the clown was made of balloons & the girl was about to shove a pin into it.

  • @tubedougz Could you try 16:9? My monitor is a CRT type, 4:3, but 16:9 might fill out the screen. I think all the test cards I've seen look the same. Obvously I don't know how they look on a better monitor, whither it be a 4:3 or 16:9 widescreen type.

  • Obviouly lots of effort - and well worth it. Thanks.

    Well done.
