Well your all talking about groin shots I would like to know does it hurt less when your older?
Because AddictedToRedBull said that a groin shot "would not effect the outcome of a fight"
But if i got kicked or punched in the groin during a fight I would be DONE.

I probably wouldn't attempt the standing guillotine choke in a street fight, I'd probably drop down into guard and if it slips I'd try to work my why to back control, side control, or some position where I'm on my knees so I could punch the guy in the ear and stand up.

I've used the guillotine in a street fight, the guys buddy jumped in after the guy in the choke went to sleep. He was about 30 pounds lighter than me so I didn't have to much trouble rolling him over and then I ran away.

Actually, most of the time when I can feel the submission slipping away, I rock my body forward, try to change the position, and try to tighten the lock. If it doesn't work we're both at somewhat of a neutral position on our knees and you can either jump into full guard offense or standing.

Also, although groin strikes can KILL you (I think that's why they're banned in MMA, not 100% sure), most of the time a single groin strike won't effect the outcome of a fight.

They are the exact same thing, it just depends what you want to do, they both have there advantages, but i like the DVD's because you dont have to be next to a computer to train, and your watching all this on a lot bigger screen i feel like i get a lot more out of it... They both will work good though it is just whichever you would want.

You never really have to hit the groin, I just fling my knee up around that area to threaten to knee in the groin, they fall for it everytime hehe
