Money from paintings usually go to Thailand national elephant institute. I'd rather see people train elephant to paint than killing them

Horrible...if you support this...you support cruelty. I have seen videos AND live situations of where elephants are trained for these types of activities. It was absolutely horrific. The video showed a baby elephant tortured with a bullhook until it became submissive and held the brush. In real life, I have witnessed an elephant having it's trunk, head, ears, etc scraped by the bullhook until it held the brush. Elephants are intelligent but they aren't here to do damn paintings for tourists!

The handlers should be more gentle with them
because how does he want him to paint if there is no paint in the brush and for heavens sake use good brushes!

Finally, to anyone who has seen the elephant painting videos, these are a the result of very cruel and consistent punishment at the end of barbed metal hooks and it is imperative that we stop purchasing them or supporting these organizations. What you don't see on those YouTube videos is the elephant urinating in fear as it is handed the paint brush.

PETA people would rather animals became extinct than helped by humans in any way. It's kind of counter-productive, but that's what they do.

Do you know about elephant? when the elephants are very happy and healthy what they will do? What we can observe is the elephant always keeps flapping the ear and moving the tail. This is simple characteristic of healthy elephants. I have been working with this creators and I was told my many elephant experts about this things.
