  • These old hoofers invented the moonwalk, not Marceau. Watch =fxZcLWAmdco

  • Old tap dancers like Bill Robinson were doing the moonwalk (though it wasn't called that) before Marceau was even born. Jackson cited Fred Astaire as an inspiration, and he could do it too, long before the legendary Marcel Marceau.
