Taken from their critically lauded album 'Dog Eared Moonlight' this promo for 'Maryfaith Autumn' was shot and edited by Robert and the band.' I really wanted something that captured the outdoor feel of the song, something that makes the ordinary seem slightly extraordinary. I also wanted to saturate the colours so they looked ultra vivid and slightly dream-like.' Featured on Billboard's website on it's release, the film was shot on location at Robert's house in Brighton and in Stanmer Park woods.
One of the most beautiful songs ever written. Thank you The Milk and Honey Band.

What a treat! The Milk and Honey Band are the best purveyors of intelligent pop since XTC, whose influence is felt here. (And XTC in their late-80s heyday were among the best since -- dare I say it? -- the Beatles.) TMAHB deserve way more recognition, of course, but it's a tough road here in the hip-hop era.

Lovely song. Summery with a hint of sadness.
In an APE podcast I heard Robert talking about how this song made him think of a black and white French film from the 60s, and I know EXACTLY what he means.

Wonderful. I'm still listening to the new album at least once a week. Beautiful work as always.
If you take requests for videos, I'm dying for a video for Incredible Visions :)
