I was surprised when I rode this and felt that it was a Traction elevator. But I'm notcomplaining; It's good that they are going "Green" on their elevators.
-
Of course, since it's their standard fixture line.
-
Synergy also uses Signa4
-
How interesting, and the Synergy comes in passenger and service capacities, while the ISIS only came in passenger sizes.
-
The ISIS used only the signa4, but the Synergy has options for fixtures

I think this is hydraulic. I was in a TKE Hydraulic that felt like traction, and made no noise whatsoever, but on the outside, you could hear it loud and clear, and it was kinda fast
-
that's what I think, because even mid-rise geared would be faster!

I hate the Thyssenkrupp buzz even more than the Dover buzz, they made it longer.
-
I wonder why they have schindler and dover in the mall, and ThyssenKrupp, Dover, and montgomeryKONE in the parking decks.

At least there won't be any interuption to service as year comes by if there was MRL
Unfortunately, I think this is a hydraulic elevator, because of the obvious motor noise when it went up.

I thought it was at first, but after riding it a second time, I realized that the vertical acceleration was way too smooth for a hydraulic elevator.

So, it's a low speed geared traction elevator.

Given the fact that it's new, it's probably an MRL.

Nice elevator there. Most structures have holeless hydraulic unit since it common for buildings up four floors. But in these days, MRL units are starting to become common in these low rise structures.

Unfortunately, they still cost about twice as much (2-3 landings) as a comparable telescoping, inground, or roped hydraulic elevator.
