Thanks, I've checked and double checked. It's not fake. Don't get me wrong, I love my GHD. It's great and does a wonderful job, but for the money, its crazy expensive. I just wanted to be amazed for the money i paid and I wasn't. :(

wolfmusic92, i did the same exact thing. i got mine from sephora yesterday, i think its totally worth the money, maybe you dont like yours because you got it from HSN.

OMG you dont have a CLUE... The CHI is awful is snags your hair and takes FOREVER to heat up..... I`ve had my GHD 7 years, i bought them when they first came out in the uk, and i would never buy anything else......

Why would I buy a Chi than be like: oh maybe the ghd is better and than to buy it anyways and waist the previous money.Thats stuped,if you cant buy the ghd buy the cheaper version witch is THE CHI but if you can SAVE UP!!!!! Because its soooooo worth it specially if your hair is curly or unhealthy.If your hair is straight and you dont care about a bigger heat damage buy a CHI

I was going to buy a CHI and after watching a bunch of vis I saved up for the GHD and it is totally worth it, mine is the standard one and it turns on in 10 seconds ,my hair is thick,hard ,curly and super frizze black hair,im dominican and when I use the GHD with no product at all only heat protectant it looks like asian hair it almost looks fake on me , its SUPER straight,shinny smooth,soft,healthy looking. I never put more product on because I dont need it.

That's smart. Buy a hundred dollar chi, realize it snags and takes FOREVER to heat up, then spend another $200+ to get a much better ghd. If your hair is not easy to manage or is super curly. SAVE THE MONEY and INVEST in a ghd, if you are looking for a very nice straightener yes I believe the investment is wise. They last a while. It's smart.

SO I GOT MY GHD FOR CHRISTMAS, AND I USE IT FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND THEN I USE IT AND WHILE IM DOING MY HAIR, IT TURNS OFF AND DOESNT TURN BACK ON AND ITS BROKEN. I REPLACE IT AND WHEN IT ARRIVES IN THE MAIL I USE IT THE FIRST DAY. THE FIRST DAY I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF MY HAIR AND IT TURNS OFF AND IS BROKEN... these straighteners piss me off.. does anyone know what to do about this?????

maybe the real thing is that your hair is already pretty manageable so the price for the ghd seems expensive but i guess it would be a different opinion from someone with really coarse hair all that aside thanks for the vid!! :) i value both good and bad reviews on a product as long as it makes sense
