The Government is far from perfect. This means that mistakes are noticed in retrospect that don't seem apparent at the moment, and there are corrupt people within high levels of government that manipulate the system... combined with the rich.
Obama is a good president since he seems to have a positive personality.
Not all of the stuff is internal too, some of it is external. This is the kind of stuff that makes economics really confusing...
