I remember listening to the radio traffic just before the mayday call was put out...I was at station 1 Eng 1 N.Chas. I was a N.Chas FF at the time, known as "Doc".What an eerie feeling watching the smoke rise from Chas that day ( I still have the cell phone pics of the plume) ready to go as soon as we were given the go ahead..... i remember the moment their bodys were brought out of the sofa super store, i got as close as i could to say goodbye to them, i knew capt billy and a few of the others.

But I could not miss to send my greetings to all the heroes who fought on September 11 against human barbarism and wholly irrational hatred and violent ... who gave their lives to save others ... as a firefighter I am proud of the comrades who honor this profession in the world ... from Argentina, Santa Fe .. my most sincere greetings to all firefighters in the world .-

If there is a life to save we are all in, if there is just property then we will make the loss the minimum it can be, but to lose 9 just is not acceptable. to lose 1 for property is too many.
