@kinksboss1 you're right,I was looking at the top 100. This was #1 for 2 weeks in sept. 64.
The animals and stones also got #1's in the second half of '64 so I guess it was the start of something.

@shwat17 hey,in the 50's they couldn't even get out of the kitchen.
Anyway,believe it or not,this song did not chart in 1964.
Nobody really knew what to make of it.
