Surprisingly, there are actually suicide statistics for children as young as five years old. They are exceedingly rare because young children don't have any concept of life and death, but it can happened since children do feel pain and rejection in their lives. There is a completely understandable explanation. But here is an example of how it can happen. Regardless of the reason, dead is dead and once in a great while, it happens.
