My wife and I were on a roadtrip to NH, when we saw this PAR train leaving Auburn, ME. I got ahead of it at Danville Jct, just a short distance south of Auburn. PAR recently acquired several former KCS SD40's, and some have been repainted into PAR blue. But as you can see, some are still in the KCS grey paint. The train slows to a stop just one car short of clearing the crossing. A man in a pickup waiting to cross was NOT impressed! Sorry about the bug on the lens early on, but black fly season is in full swing up here in Maine. Also, sorry about my comment to my wife about the graffitti being "amazing." I wasn't referring to the artistry, but rather the amount. It's unbelievable!!
