@Zangizo it's an IFV, it combines the characteristics of MBT and APC.. it doesn't have the armour and firepower of a tank and it can't carry as much troops as an APC, but it can do both.. it goes to a fight alongside MBT's, followed by APC's..

The standard american tank is the Abrams M1A1 A.I.M. - It can protect from up to 130mm round's and fires a 120mm cannon.

It is also one of the fastest tracked vehicles on the market.

With ATM development , the systems are just to effective against MBT. Missiles are just blowing them to peices. Like plastic toy. I have to witness one to make sure its blowing up MBT and not a fake , cardboard,plastic replica. Your best in fast moving IFV with the lates ATM systems.put on a AA heat seeker on top.

@Spartan043 true, however mobility is a key issue, that's why neither Norway, Sweden or Finland has bought neither the Bradley nor the Abrams, since they both broke down in harsh winter conditions. During my time of service in the Swedish military, we got to ride the Cv90 through a storm in 9 feet of snow and ice. Still it was able to plough through almost 30 km through that in mountainous terrain and -32°c. Reliability that the vehicle doesn't brake is a key fact. Otherwise we would have died

Not all Americans are biased towards our own military hardware. I recognize fully that the CV90 series of vehicles offers best-in-class performance. They aren't cheap, however. Bradleys cost between 1.5 to 3 million USD each, while CV90s are closer to 3.6 to 5 million USD per vehicle. That's a hefty price to pay for an IFV, but they've certainly proven these things to be effective in Afghanistan. It's like a fine sports car. Not everyone can afford one, even if they'd like to have one.
