159k it was at 157k at the time of the vid but I really only did this vid a month ago.... the uploader has been giving me coniptions for months! oh well! I payed 1600 for her...... baught un knowingly with a broken stabilizer link. which then broke a brake line..... you cant detect a broken stabilizer link by driving it. then I had both replaced along with the WHOLE brake line as the bolt for the rubber line clamp was seized. then 2 weeks later the crank sensor went out another $250 bucks so all told I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 2200 into her? with an oil change new wipers, headlight adjustment, other misc stuff lol

  • is that the factory hitch?

  • @crackermess I believe it to be. there is something to be said about having a factory hitch though..... Its geared different. my grandfather has a 99 limited and he says it dont have the same amount of guts with the tow pack.I think so too.... though its still plenty quick! urs is quicker than mine I have a series I you have II

  • Sweet car. I just saw this video, Im a little behind the times lol. I've noticed that those window switches seem to go out alot, but the good news is you can get a new one for the drivers side for $15 from rock auto

  • Thanks..... it is nice I love it the only thing I hate about it is the fact that its sometimes a dinasaur to park..... I really dont want to install the switch myself bein that it has manual mirrors..... I dont wanna mess it up..... or maybe you could do a vid if you have one like that????

  • Yeah I could do that, got a few crown vic videos to upload first tho. It looks like in your video that the window switch is already kinda popped up, did you have that out already?

  • NOPE.... was like that.... keep in mind its a manual mirror... but I found out that from pics on ebay that the manual part is separate and that that thing is just a face plate am I right???

  • @hylander89 yeah im sure. i beat my friend who a 99 silverado with the 5.7 v8 and a few mods. and im top swapping it this summer so its gunna be even faster

  • I had a '93 just like it for my first car (for four years). Reliable and drove nice. mine had rust underneath and I just finished fixed it all up when i found a '98 Bonneville I couldn't pass up.

  • Ive never worked on one with manual mirrors before but it should be similar to the one with power. The power window switch should come off of that face plate either way.

  • haha I have one like that somewhere too..... Idk where but I know i have it
