Police on Monday released surveillance from a shooting at a Kansas City car wash that killed Army Reservist Erick Gandarilla.
Gandarilla was shot to death at about 3 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot in the 2700 block of Southwest Boulevard.
The owner of the car wash said he installed surveillance cameras because the area was known for drug deals.
The video showed three men running up to a getaway car, police said.
Police said they hope someone may recognize the car or the people in the video. Anyone with information in the case can call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hot line at 816-474-TIPS.
The car wash owner has helped police before. The owner told KMBC's Justin Robinson that a few weeks ago, he gave police surveillance video of a man who was stealing coins out of his car wash and several others in town. The owner said the thief had keys to the money machines and that the surveillance video helped catch him.
