Volatile weather the 1st and 2nd weeks of June, 2009. Tornado sirens in Denver went off at approximately 2:53 pm on the 14th of June, during a Rockies home game. Before the sirens, the clouds were dark, low, and tinged green. Fans and players could see funnel clouds and were snapping pictures as they ran inside. What quickly expoloded into a level 6 supercell produced this tornadic activity.

This is proof that God hates the Rockies.

  • I was there and my dad pointed at the sky and yell "theres a funnel"! and everybody paniced! but i still love tornadoes!!!!

  • People were joking about it?!!! They didn't seem to understand they could've DIED that day

  • I forgot to say that the person at that game was an umpire on my crew.

  • I am an umpire at Cooperstown Dreams Park in New York and serve as a crew chief. There was somebody who lives in Denver who was at that game when the tornado warning went into effect.
