@DanoPomo the SnowWinch was just strapped to the rear rack, I now have the XT17 with the mounting plate (WAY BETTER) Check out the WARN website and you can see it...

a winch might be handy in some occasions though

@shinleung We were doing our best to stick the bike so we could try out the new equiptment. This was about learning how it all worked more than a real rescue. When I get a chance I will post the recovery we did in Mexico where the bike was pulled out of an 7 ft deep revine
