You guys need to watch his other videos. This is a form of Capoeira but not like the jogo that you would do at a school. The old guy is trying to teach a more combative form in a real world setting without beating the crap of his student. Although I think he slapped him hard on the head. Normally at a class, you learn the moves or get in a rhoda and do it with out hitting your partner. But again he is trying to teach a more combative form in an area where it would be used effectively

@AcornOnCrack LOL as the teacher and him are doing the style, the teacher is throwing kicks etc at the student to help the student to get the flow of the movement within the style better. It's like when he throws the kick at the student hes helping the student to find a way by only using the art to move out of the way without getting hit, then learning to counter with a hit but strictly using Capoeira only lol.
