@blindone661 hahaha norma jean couldnt kick an ass if it was taped to their fucking foot
-
lol i dont hear any similarity to thrice......

I just listened to "under a killing moon" by Thrice and with out doubt there is some similarity around the verse line. But it is not uncommon that melody lines, especially catchy ones like this would catch a musicians/vocalist ear and inspire a similar melody line. Norma Jean is such an original band anyway!!! i really like the direction of this album.

I like how the top two comments are an argument between two people.

The arrangement of the vocal patterns are similar in the first verse, but big deal. It's not like they stole the lyrics and/or the riffs found in the song. Still love both songs.

love that album cover

@blindone661 I think your noticing the vocals, because that is deffinantly the only part of the band which resembles thrice, these people just cant be on youtube without arguing about something, so they assume your dissin' them by saying that.

@avlkush I'm a big Norma Jean fan man, but I'm afraid your wrong, the first 20 seconds are basically identical as soon as the vocals kick in.

@andreote1 wow this sounds nothing like that crappy thrice song or anything like that fudgepacking band in general. this song has a totally different feel to it and is actually badass
@andreote1 this song is way harder than thrice sorry buddy but in my opinion it kicks its ass and shoves it down the stairs.

I can easily see the resemblance between this and that Thrice song. But, music is Finite. No matter what you write, someone has probably written it before. Thrice and Norma Jean are both amazing bands.
