A project at Hials, where we are controlling a remote controlled car with and iPhone. We are using the Iphone application OSC remote that sends the accelerometer data to a pc, which transmits out a serial signal to an arduino microcontroller via MAX 5. The microcontroller then sends the signal to another microcontroller mounted on the car via trancievers.

  • Isn't that OSC just great?!!??

I bet it can be done without a PC. Just wifi router, or board on the RC car itself!

  • @billysgeo

yeah, it's probably very possible. We just wanted to keep it relatively simple this time around. To bad that car is utterly demolisehed now:)

  • As the info say, we have connected the iphone to the computer via WLAN, and processing the data on the computer, before sending it out to a microcontroller that sends a radiosignal to another microcontroller thats mounted on the car.
