Products I Regret -- July, 2009: Part I

Have't done one of these in a good long while, and since I've been loving hauling not wisely but too well, I've piled up some stuff I wish I hadn't bought.

In the end of part 2, I am asking for some advice so please help a girl out!

have you tried to placed a cream shadow base in between your eyeshadow base and the eyeshadow for the CG shadow.....I found that when I do this the colors come out better or at least usable

I tried it with a few, the revlon one and one of the coastal scents gel liner pots (which are great as bases too) and the color payoff was definitely better, but I still wasn't crazy about the effect. It just looked..like the colors had not depth, sort of. If that makes sense. :) On the other hand, it could totally be just me. EmilyNoel just listed this very same quad as one of her top drugstore picks.

bisque is the same colour as your skin, why would you use it as a highlighter? Its your colouring not the shadow.

I actually have that Covergirl palette at the beginning and use it constantly. I will continue to until I get my Coastal Scents palette. I don't have a problem with it.
