I am from the UK but working in Canada.
The London scenes shown in the video makes me homesick but the song makes it real.
I feel alone looking at home from so far away, but the words make feel like the loneliest man in the world.

Is "Please Forgive Me" the same song that Brian Adams sings? That was a very popular tune over here in '93. It is a great song. I know Adams spends a lot of time in the UK so he's probably familiar with David Gray's work.

It's not your problem that someone from such a beautiful part of the world (North Yorkshire) struggles to find a way to express pride in themselves and where they come from than by being disparaging towards others.
