If you retrofit the GPS you must also disconnect and code out the compass module or else the car will get 2 signals. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mw1T7oqiQsw for that procedure.

  • Why did it say antenna error and where did you get this unit?

  • @datooch It said antenna error on sirius because the car was not equipped with a sirius antenna nor was the owner interested in subscibing.

  • Awesome video... out of curiosity, if my car came with the RNS 315, is an upgrade to the RNS-510 a simple swap? or more?

  • i need help how to take a radio out of vw touran 2005.

  • how do you know the radio code?

  • the stock radio in is actually the rcd-310. the 510 is the touchscreen w/out nav.
