@gregsmetalworks Hey I'm curious...how did that innertube rubber gasket thing work out? Did it leak after it got hot? And if so..did tightening down the nuts help out any?

@freeenergeeeee Ya but...didn't I read something once from a bob boyce article,something about if you get the spacing to close together that the bubbles have a harder time getting to the top? And something else on the back of my mind..if the plates were farther apart, say, 1/6th of an inch, Couldn't you compinsate the lack of production by adding a little more koh?

hey greg the shower pan liner is a bust it will only last for a couple of months.. then the gaskets start to get hard and leak.. the best is the epdm if you cruise around the construction sites you can find it.. it is membrane roofing..

gotgas63 is another metal guy who says that the best gaskets for his hho torch cell is some stuff made by Fel-Pro # 3157. Its 1/32" thick composite of fibers and rubber and stocked by Auto Zone for 4.99/sheet.
