  • will you give one on one classes to someone who wants to start from scratch on learning to sing?

  • @thekaliko Of course! That is what I do for a living. You can train with me 1 on 1 in my studio in Seattle, or train with me in real-time over the internet on skype web cam. It works great, half my students are internet students from all over the world. Send me an email and I can give you more information about it. Also, there is a video here on my channel where I discuss the internet lessons a little bit.

  • Man, your last correct siren here is faszinating me. I think it's phenomenal. That G5 sounds like it's overdubbed by a G6! Johannes

  • @JhWlo Thanks... there are no overdubs here. Does the video look like a big production? This is entirely live and only using the microphone from the standard definition camera... this is very dated... there has been a LOT of growth and maturity in my training and pedagogy since this was filmed. I invite you to check out "The Four Pillars of Singing" 2.0 DVD/CD/Book training system. It has INSANE vocal demonstrations in it, filmed with four HD cameras simultaneously. Its really great.

  • speak in a falsetto voice...thats your head voice... then we train you to be able to have more full power in that register... replace falsetto with full voice timbre.

  • Call me or purchase my training system and we can work on it together. I cant answer that in a Youtube "reply comment" thingy...

  • I've def pulled chest and I've def tried to pass off a falsetto (sometimes by doubling in recording). Strangely, I have found a 'head voice' that can ring like hell, but it seems to just show up in a few notes when I get it in an exercise situation, and never in a song where I need it, and I don't have it tied into my other singing. Does it have something to do with the vowels used in the lyric? People prefer my lower tones, and I seem to be able to make them purer. I can get very loud yelling.

  • Head voice - more tone than air in your sound.

Falsetto - more air than tone in your sound.

  • Breathe..but try to breath quietly so it doesnt dry yoru vocal chords

  • How do you approach the passagio, going into head voice, without forcing into the high range/breaking into falsetto? I may be straining or forcing too much, I just find it hard accessing head voice without breaking into falsetto

  • I cant believe i can do all the notes in youre videos and never had before i tried it INCREDIBLE EXRECISES
