Again the founders were of different religions. So the principals were from different religious backgrounds. Christianity just happens to be the most popular one. Repress how? I seen a lot of decisions being made because of religion when they shouldn't. I think it's about time that we don't base ideas on religious views and keep it where it belongs as a personal choice not a guide how all should live when others do not believe the same.

Yes, it was founded on freedom and christian principals. Freedom of religion.... "Like, Government shall make NO law concerning religion" and as you can see there is a consorted effort to repress Christianity and many laws concerning it passed!!

It was founded on having religious freedom and not to favor 1 religion over another. A simple look at the test to become a US citizen proves that. Clearly not the case today. Some of the founders were NOT christian. A lot of other religions have the same/similar principals. So perhaps I was a lil more awake in class then you were. Also, I would think an 80% christian based society would have far less problems then we obviously do. Unless I am brainwashed into believing that as well? lol
