I can only say that I have seen black women who have chosen so called thugs over so called good black men, so this is not something that has just popped out of the sky..I believe some black women have been conditioned this way and their demographic along with general society continues to enforce the message thru mediums such as music and these hood books that a lot of sistas read...the so called nice guy is viewed as weak while the thug is viewed as hardcore, neither which may be the actual case

I was one of those guys that would always get dissed by black women. And I did do an inventory. I changed up my style, wore my pants saggin half down my ass, looked like I just got out of prison, and what do you know. Black women started paying me more attention.
