Gentleness

One of the fruits of the Spirit is gentleness. God wants us to feed His sheep, to be an encouragement to His children. How can we do this? By first humbling ourselves. The manger was a humble feeding trough, yet our Savior was first placed there to rest in that stable after He was born. Humble beginnings. That's how we can become a "feeding trough" for others...let the life of our Savior rest within our hearts. it's not about US, but about WHO we have within us! The Bread of Life. Let's humble ourselves so that the Life of our Savior can begin to grow. Others will be drawn to Him and may their souls be fed by The Living Bread!

Hi, and thanks for posting! I too am among the crowd who had this record way-back-when.  I was even in a stage production of this musical and had the good foresight to hang on to the sheet music. Years later I taught this to a church choir that I used to lead. But this is the first time I have seen it posted on You-Tube, other than from the record itself. Much appreciated.

Thanks y'all! :) This is a little children's chorus from an "old" record I used to have, the Music Machine. It was about the fruit of the Spirit. Back then I didn't have a piano, only a small electric table-top "keyboard". . .and God helped me pick this song out by "ear" when I was a young girl. . . Mom heard me playing it and told my Dad, "Um..I think we better get her into piano lessons." :)

Now, you've taken this same song and the music that you've created makes the song reach way down into my heart and thank God for the Music Machine and how God is still using it, all these years later in your YouTube version of it. Thank you for this "Gentleness" video. We had this album and our children listened to it until it was all scratchy and barely audible. It brings back all the gentle memories of my children when they were little. Now they are in their 40's. I miss those tender years of being a young mother with babies and this brought it all back. Beautiful song. My husband discovered it and sent me the link. God bless you.
