This is video that helps to extract keys from MacBook keyboard for cleaning or changing keys locations like From AZERTY to QWERTY keyboard.
There is only plastic parts visible, no circuit risk.
And if you set keyboard lights on it will be easily to do operations.
Remember you do this on your own risk!

  • You saved my life! My key was broken, so I paused your video when you were holding the white mechanism, I looked and got it right the first time of watching it (which was a lot better than multiple attempts that were failures)!

    Thank you so much!!!!!!!

    I will like this video!

    Thank you!

  • How do you remove the backspace key?

  • @androbhil Reply take it to ur closest Apple Certified Service Bay. They fixed and replaced my enter button (They should have the parts in stock, or else will order u one) :)

  • i did it!!! yeah son! thanks man and it felt like a loose tooth XD i had to wiggle it out

  • thankyou! this helped me alot. i dropped a drink on my keyboard and my U J I keys were taking forever to come up once pressed down, but this method worked perfectly and my keys are working properly again! :)

  • Do you know where I can buy replacement keys for a mbp?

  • are u outa of your mind? no screwdrivers do it with a plastic tool instead..Dont follow this tutorial is like playing with fire..You can easily scratch or break these plastics if your screwdriver slips .

  • whow, thanks. It worked on my MacBook Air (2012). Only difference: the keys are fixed in the upper part at both sides (lift them out as shown in the video), and then use the same method for the two holders in the lower side.

  • Awesome, thanks so much. Worked perfectly. If you just concentrate and take your time, it's easy.
