  • fantastic camera on the kayak following the kayaker under water and the movements. thanks, great video idea.

  • depends on your perspective.

sweep is generally considered easier, but c to c keeps your face toward the boat so you can't get bashed in the nose by a rock.

I'm practicing sweep. It's better to have a roll that might maybe get you in trouble than to not have one at all.

  • 33 people could not master the roll

  • great video.

  • wow i can do a roll with a paddle but not with my hands... maybe because i don't get enough water resistance or stuff but i'm already leaning back with my head coming out last. no idea why i ain't able to come up

  • This video is great. I rolled my kayak for the first time today. I did it once, but couldn't do it again. I guess I need to figure out a method and stick to it. I was leaning forward with my nose on the skirt, but the majority of these guys were leaning back. I'll have to try that to see if it makes a difference. dagger approach 9.0

  • Very cool, thanks for sharing.

  • Great video i found this extremely useful!!!

  • @criso1994

You might still want to practice it a few times in a calm area with someone nearby. You don't want to be in a dangerous spot and realize it wasn't as effortless as originally anticipated.

  • @criso1994 practice. a lot, it sooo much harder to get down then you think, but once you get it its easy. especially practice if your white water kayaking.

  • i just bought a kayak and was worried i would go underwater and drown but now i know the technique to get back and it looks quite simple

  • Cool. I have to master that this summer, best vid ive seen on the subject, Thanks.
