    My wonderful wonderful (late) parents bought me my first transistor radio for Christmas of 1958, I was 11 years old at the time. Shortly after, I was listening to radio station KFWB/AM in my hometown of Los Angeles, California ~ every waking moment ~ and Sam Cooke soon became one of my favorites. Great memories of a time and place that is now gone but never forgotten. Sing on Sam, for all my days ~ and beyond.
