Live And Let Die (Guns N Roses) Cover By Gareth Rhodes/axl77

A laid back version of Live And Let Die. This is the next song in my Guns N Roses project and i wanted to try and do something slightly different with it. I remember Axl Rose describing the song as Welcome To The Jungle 2. I didnt really want to try and do a version similar to the GNR one because it is so powerful and so well recorded with great use of strings. My version is much more faithful to the original Wings version in as much as it is more laid back than the heavy chugger that is the Guns version. I hope you like it.

@michellesupport89 Thanks man, yes, all my covers tend to go that way i think. I suppose thats a good description of who i am, very laid back :) Too laid back at times.

@mean0machine0 Thats a wonderful thing for me to hear. I really try my best to avoid doing a cover thats similar in tone because you leave yourself open to comparison with the original that way and 9 times out of ten , you are going to come off worse. I find that if i try and incorporate some of my own musical sensibilities in to the covers that they take on their own identity while still echoing the sentiment of the original. I take a lot from that and it keeps doing covers fresh.

@Glockenator Is it one of those scenes thats supposed to be annoying or is it just plain annoying? Ive only seen that clip from the movie and the kids in the back seat. I got the feeling they were really playing the annoying card on purpose.
