@aickny.. Where does Sen Elect Rubio advocate government getting involved in religion? Like Thomas Jefferson it sounds like he just want government to let us express our religious and political speech without govt interference. Sounds good, yes?

The pilgrims came to America escaping the rule of religion in Europe.Thomas Jefferson was a man of deep religious conviction — his conviction was that religion was a very personal matter, one which the government had no business getting involved in. This guy is not right.
