Worked as a mechanic for 20 years in commercial aviation . Cut my teeth on VW's when a fellow took pity on me buying a junk one as a teenager. We worked in conditions much like shown in your VDO with good results despite adverse conditions. This is the best way to learn . An old neighbor sent his kid to a NASCAR academy and I wouldnt trust him with a lawn mower. Good show!

check it out, 71 super beetle should have two rows of louvers on the engine cover. all other years have four sets of louvers. nice job though.
