Cant wait till like 2020 or maybe few years after when The Aircraft carriers are fully ready and we have all our Type 45s ready, i really wonna see a video of 1 Aircraft carrier and then a fleet of destroyers/frigates and subs around it xD. but most likly a battle group wont be as big as Americas it will probz consist of 1 Carrier 2 Type 45, 4-5 Type 23 Frigates and 2-3 Subs. but this would probz only be used for a war if its just a petty rebelion then the aircraft carrier with 1 frigate :P.

Argentina airforce is wrecked their troops are not well trained. they do not have any advanced weapons and their navy is tiny and old. and they do not have nuclear weapons do people really think that argentina will be able to invade the falklands. argentinas not a threat to the UK but Iran is...

@Dogmeat1950 We wouldn't need the US to help us against Argentina and the US knows this- that is why they would not help. And as long as we could use the US to fly sorties against Argentina then we would be happy. To be honest we wouldn't really need intel anyway... Argentina is a third world country.

the USA would most likely support the U.K by Logistical and Intel means at the most, as for getting into a shooting war with Argentina doubt the USA would.

@Dogmeat1950 Yes, carriers are important, but Argentina is in no position to wage war with a country like the UK. The US would probably let us use their AF bases, that and we could use the Reapers, which could fly all the way to Agrentina and destroy targets, then fly back. So you agree that they're British, that is good. Argentina only claim that they're Argentine to distract their peoples' attention away from the state of their own country.
