I did this same thing at home. I drew the floorplan of my house and then drew in all the furniture to scale. I then took a survey of the house and color coded the drawing according to the amount dust bunnies. I used blue for no dust bunnies and red for alot of dust bunnies. What I did notice, is that when the dust bunnies contacted the baseboard, that they were not able to penetrate farther. I went back in a month and checked to see if the dust bunnies had disappeared, but they hadn't.
