  • are you setting up with the ball on the toe of the clubface?

  • Yes, I've been unknowingly doing that since I was 18. Some things that work you shouldn't changes! :)

  • well,

I don't know if this was intended for me or not, but I'll be sure to try it.

    thank you.

  • this has helped me,im more consistant, and have a nice little draw, Thanks so much.

  • for yrs i suffered from horrible slices n tried drills like this which long term are no good as there nt d root cause of d slice, my slice problem, i eventually realised was keeping my head back after impact and also i swung too fast with my hands instead of having a passive hand movement which both caused over the top shots, slices, these drills and others like trying to have a roll release are only good short term. the domino affect

  • Great drill to feel the hands turn over which will keep you from slicing.

  • Best drill, Thanks

  • Well, this helped even more than I expected. I'm a 19 and shot an 86 at my home course today, the second best score I've had. Only been playing a year, but was shooting in high 90s lately and this made a big difference. Wasn't hitting fat at all and was drawing the ball most of the time or "mis-hitting" it straight.

    Thanks!

  • This is one of the best things golf vids I've seen on youtube! I always shy away from the "fix your slice" tips, because a million things can "cause" a slice, or any kind of bad swing. But this tip is great because it gives a means of practicing the inside swing path that is both visual and feel oriented without any gadgets or worse- any checklist sorts of items to add to one's mental consternation at the practice tee. My driver is my best club but I hit irons fat and this should help.

  • Thanks for the video. I have a terrible slice and have been trying to correct it. Driving is my weakest part of the game. If I can get it straight, then it will be long. I will try this drill.

  • ok

    I just wasn't sure.

I will try this, along with your other advice.

I put the ball back in my stance and sped my swing up slightly and it seems to be helping. I'll be sure to stick with this drill. Thanks again!
