wow! Mines was not like that at all! Skin was pinched up by a clamp, there was no blood till after it was done and my piercer wasn't as shakey!
didn't like this!

@prtgesegerl a dermal punch is the tool he used to make the hole, some artists use needles and others the dermal punch. I also use the dermal punch because its faster working.
It is a dermal anchor :-)

I believe that's a dermal punch...not dermal anchor...i have 2 dermal anchor's and that's not how it's done.

@mandybear54 not true. I had mine done on my wrists and I barely bled at all. this is rediculous the way it bled.

actually, it bleeds like that everywhere. as long as the piercer pinches the skin during the whole process, no blood will be drawn. it only bled heaps because the skin was let go.
