From Wicked, the hit Broadway musical, Nightmare Moon, Twilight Sparkle, and the Citizens of Ponyville all sing Idina Menzel's Act I finale, "Defying Gravity" in a small story about Nightmare Moon defying her sister Princess Celestia [The Wizard].

Characters:

Nightmare Moon: Elphaba
Twilight Sparkle: Galinda/Glinda
Princess Celestia: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
Everyone Else: The Citizens of Oz

Note: There is a stifling amount of repeated clips, I know, but that is due to the incredibly limited amount of footage of Princess Luna/Nightmare Moon. Please pardon this.

  • uuum hi.... i-if you want to, ca-can you make this so i can watch this on my ipod? not to cause trouble or anything

  • @girgirl99 Normally I would be happy to oblige, but when I transferred computers, I lost the actual original files. If you so choose to, you can try to find a good YouTube Downloader and take this video.

  • @FigmentsFan now that i have access to it... really good job! my favorite musical and show combined!!!

  • @theairsoftrebel I won't deny that, but there's a more intricate reason I picked Twilight and NMM. Elphaba falls from public grace and seeks to defeat the Wizard for his wrong-doings; NMM can easily fit that bill fighting her sister [whom we destroy the image of anyway lol]. Glinda partnered with the Wizard in order to gain public credit and keep being popular with everyone; tell me that the student of Celestia doesn't sound somewhat like that, even if her show personality is rather reclusive.

  • @FigmentsFan true, i was just thinking that there would be more footage to use

  • Read Past Sins and then watch this, makes it so much sadder

  • @theairsoftrebel One interpretation against another.

  • @FigmentsFan what about RD and AJ

  • @EmmatheMinx One interpretation against another.

  • I think Twilight and Rarity suit the roles a bit better.
