Mercedes-Benz Actros - Active Brake Assist 2

Der sicherste Lkw der Welt wird nun noch sicherer: Mercedes-Benz führt im Schwer-Lkw Actros die zweite Generation des Active Brake Assist ein. Dieses vielfach preisgekrönte Sicherheitssystem kann jetzt noch mehr: Leitete es bisher vor langsamer vorausfahrenden Hindernissen bei Gefahr eines Auffahrunfalls automatisch eine Bremsung ein, so wird der neue Active Brake Assist 2 auch vor stehenden Hindernissen aktiv, etwa einem überraschenden Stau. Der Active Brake Assist hat bisher in mehr als 14 000 Lkw und über mehr als einer Milliarde Kilometer auf den Straßen Europas seine Leistungsfähigkeit überzeugend in der Praxis unter Beweis gestellt.

It is a good thing, its been in cars for some time.

I cant read German & I have a question, can it be overridden? I ask because it would be fairly easy for this truck to be hijacked otherwise.
