Being an old helicopter pilot, sorry but I consider this unsafe landing. It's not wise to make approach over land with gear up, unless you stay over water. Sure you could crash safe on grass with all gear up in case of lost gear landing at airports. But you see this lake is very large and Lake amphibian can circle for landing. So you want to approach straight and level since your stall speed increases in a bank. Did you watch the videos of Bruce when he circles for landing to a small swamp pond?
This is good, low to the shore to keep the vertical distance in perspective and then hold the rpm/descent until contact with the water. Great "glassy water" landing.
