@redolds4422 screen flashing may be the video controller not the display

Thank you so much for your video! Today my screen "broke free" and now will now close properly. After watching your video, I was able to find the problem of 3 broken pieces of plastic where with screws. Do you have any recommendations for where to find parts (screen housing)? In Canada ?

Hi! Your video is really great. I have a problem with my laptop; it's a Dell xps m1330 but the video flex were broken and I need to put into the laptop again for obtaining warranty. I know it's a little tricky but please, help me. Where I lived all computers are very expensive.
Sorry for my bad english, I'm mexican.
Have a nice day (:

The mark of genius is making the complex simple. Thank you for this demonstration. This chore seems less daunting now.

@reply4reply H/W:3A and H/W:1A are the revisions in the hardware and they must not have any compatibility issue is what i found.
and it worked too. unless the model no. stays the same.
hope this helps you instead.
any way thanks for your attempt to help me (reply).

@adhikarideep 1A only, 3A may not work.
WARNING: DO NOT BUY A LAPTOP SCREEN FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Upon reading many negative reviews online I gave this company a chance to send me a replacement screen for my laptop. Of course they sent me the wrong screen for my laptop and claimed that it is compatible. Only 1 problem the screen keeps flashing, not to mention the product numbers do not match. Upon submitting a request for a new screen they told me that I have to pay shipping to return the screen and pay the shipping for the new one

@redolds4422 did it say in description Original or Compatible? did they mention in their T&C that return shipping is not included?

80% dark screen problems are solved by replacing the inverter board, it is a stick board underneath the lcd screen that controls backlight and it usually dies for no reason. example dell inspiron 9400 inverter on ebay
