Bethany Joy Galeotti (nee Lenz) and Tyler Hilton singing a live cover of the Ryan Adams song "When the Stars Go Blue" at the Philadelphia stop during the OTH Tour in 2005. The song was featured on the CW show One Tree Hill during season two and a recorded version of the song is also on the One Tree Hill Soundtrack which can be purchased from iTunes.

I'm not sure who filmed this video so if you did or know who filmed it please do let us know!

Lyrics:

Dancin' where the stars go blue
Dancin' where the evening fell
Dancin' in my wooden shoes
In a wedding gown

Dancin' out on 7th street
Dancin' through the underground
Dancin' little marionette
Are you happy now?

Where do you go when you're lonely
Where do you go when you're blue
Where do you go when you're lonely
I'll follow you
When the stars go blue

Laughing with your pretty mouth
Laughing with your broken eyes
Laughing with your lover's tongue
In a lullaby

Where do you go when you're lonely
Where do you go when you're blue
Where do you go when you're lonely
I'll follow you
When the stars go blue
The stars go blue, stars go blue

  • @CarolinaGirl2816 There's a quote by F.Scott Fitzgerald that goes 'you don't write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say'. When I try to write a song I fail, I usually write them when I'm in a really bad mood or confused about somethin and I need to find a way to express how I'm feeling. I'm sure you'll write an amazing song one day :) Good luck :)

  • @indiemelon I'm right there with you. (I realize it seems like everyone says this) but I've been singing and performing since I was about six years old. I love to sing. To me, songs and lyrics speak when words can't...you know? One talent I was NOT blessed with is writing songs. (Of course, this hasn't stopped me from trying...over and over) :) However, Joy's unique, refreshing style of music has been a huge inspiration for me as well. Anyway, good luck with your songs! God Bless :)

  • Probably the best cover performed by actors I heard so far! Big up!!

  • they're both so good
