I rented a Rode VIdeomic this weekend just to test it out for a shoot we have next weekend. It had awful handling noises, and was overall not that sensitive. We're also recording to a Zoom - the rental place has the Sennheiser ME66 for rent, would you say it didn't have much in the way of handling noise problems?

@baljot1231 yes I would definitely check out the zoom an use it with a sennheiser shot gun mic. To me a very good combination an not much noise what so ever.

Nice test. Any recommendations for a good settings for audio recording on the zoom with someone talking?

@stuartcohen36 Thanks. We always record using the 24/48 settings on it. It gives it a more rich sound in my opinion.
