Cass & Frankie's Housewarming Party--Part 1

The bang was just the china cabinet. Cass tells Frankie he'll put a latch on it, and they can get back in their skins. Frankie says that was an awfully big bang to be the happy noise Cass thinks it was. He assures her everything will be fine, reminding her that they're gonna have a party. They're kissing again when the doorbell rings--their first guests have arrived. Cass and Frankie greet Rachel, Amanda, and Sam. They brought presents, and when Frankie tells them they didn't have to bring presents, Rachel says they aren't presents, they're necessities. Frankie's gift is an incense burner; Cass's gift is a bird feeder, which Amanda has to show him how to put together. Cass offers to get Rachel something, but she says she's fine, she just wants to enjoy seeing him and Frankie together. Sam waxes poetic about love being even better the second time around. Frankie teasingly says, "Let me guess, you like her," meaning Amanda. Rachel says that the world is turning right again because Cass and Frankie are where they belong: together. They both thank Rachel. Then Felicia arrives with the food and a waiter from TOPS. While the others help Steve the waiter set up the food, Felicia pulls Cass aside to talk about Lorna, telling Cass that she spoke to Lorna and doesn't understand why Lorna's birth records are sealed. Cass thinks that Lorna doesn't know the whole story, and neither do they, at least not yet, but he tells Felicia that they have the name of the woman who raised Lorna, although he warns her not to get too excited because this might be the end of the trail.
