Glenn Beck GOP Earmarks

Glenn Beck roasts the G.O.P. for their participation in the Omnibus Spending Bill earmarks and calls Senator Thad Cochrane to the mat. Really a good follow up to yesterday's rant. Unlike the "bipartisan" John McCain who sells out his fellow GOP for his own political gains, Glenn goes after them for their lack of principal. Bring it on!

GOP = Well intentioned but severely compromised conservatives

DEM = Pure Evil Naked Power Organs

LIBertarian = Misguided Purists that fail at the basic art of politics

Of the three, probably only a Libertarian would have the gonads to strip the pork and treat the Constitution with the full respect it deserves, but they keep dragging generally refuted wedge issues onto the table like drug legalization. I fear we're too far along in abandoning the republic without getting more centrists on board.

Just to be clear on my remark above regarding GOP, DEM, LIB, I'm not referring to plain old folk who support the parties, but I'm talking about members of congress from those parties who spend their time building their political careers and stuffing their pockets with taxpayer and lobbyist money and gifts, handing out favors to their cronies. There's no room for graft, not in this, the United States. Time to take the republic back.

@onebadlsc Hero? Even though he doesn't seem to understand what earmarks are? Earmarks are ways of getting money back to the people who had to pay it in taxes. Should we just let the money be appropriated by the executive branch instead of letting the people vote for how they spend their tax dollars? Sounds like a dictatorship.
