Do they make an engine torque damper for your car? I have an 08 Civic Si and for what few mods I have done on it the single biggest improvement was the installation of an Ingalls torque damper. All of that engine movement you see/feel when you step on the throttle is totally eliminated. If they have one for your CRZ I would recommend you get it. You wont be disappointed.

@alexlollini oh one more thing, any feedback with cleaning the engine? again i cant get any clear answers with that, i just cant stand a dirty engine thats why im so concerned with a hybrid engine

@alexlollini hey sir great car, have you ever used your car in snow? if so how does it handle? 2nd question is that you think you can fit this hybrid car with a remote start? 3rd question is that during chilly months when you start the car and let it idle does it warm up the car at least? or no? i am having mixed responses maybe you can give me a clear answer, i am aware that idling is bad so dont quote me on that one. thank you

How are you planning on suspension?
I'm asking cause of the inferior rear beam suspension

and further more,
I remember buying a crx back in the late 90's when it the FWD drag racing scene was just getting started.
We did it because everyone said it couldn't be done.
We love to hear to that, we love to do what ppl like you say is impossible.
And yes nobody tunes a hybrid, yet! because nothing cool has been offer like this before.
You will see CR-Z coming out with a lot of innovations.
This car is the FUTURE you old fart.

Why not tune a hybrid?
give me one good reason, that doesn't start with "because"
This car is a gift from honda, so us gear heads can get in at the ground level and experiment with the technology.
Have you seen the instant battery dump feature that is like 50 hp NOS shot?
Some guys have already coupled two IMA together to get an extra 100 ftlbs of torque out of the Z.
Li-on battery upgrades, Curtis controllers, Plus all your old school technology works on the ICE.
To each there own

I love hondas but this is fucking stupid, its a hybrid god damn it ! you dont tune a hybrid, its for economy not going fast, plain stupidity, sorry
I am planning to start with a rear low stabi-bar as the japan model has one in stock version. Maybe Cusco. Maybe going further with Spoon rigid collar and front cage, but maybe i don't drive hard enough to feel the need of more. those seem very good : BC Racing BR-RN "club sport" but for me suspension work is all or nothing, need all at once bars, slick tires, all. But as i don't do track every day, i won't.

I do tuning because I want and I like it, nothing stupid here.
With those very simple mods, the car is not a lot faster, but souds very good, throttle is more responsive, and my mpg improved lightly.
All this will be refined by a careful reprog with hondata.
"more fun to drive" is the key. to understand you need to like the car in the first place, if you don't like the car as a hybrid, go for another car !
This is my favorite car ever, and still.

remove the electric part and you have a bad car, the hybrid part is whats make it, its the roots.

sorry but my mic was really creepy, i have got other videos where sound is better.
Sound is best describer as Harley-like in low rpm and F458 Italia divided by 10 a high rpm.
the Rev limit around 5k is only there at a full stop, the stock limiter is around 6,5K on the road.
Spoon made an ECU with rev up to 8,5K.

Spoon N-1 Exhaust = 500 eur
Throttle body + HKS RSR = 1k
wheels and tires = 2k
